Chris,
I met Natalie last week when some of the Madison Co. teachers were together in seminars. She gave me this website. You really do some beautiful work! You may have even taught a 4-H class years ago for my group. I know that Tim did it a couple of times and I forget it you did it once after he left. Anyway, good luck in your career!

Great shots Tim, and your motto is right on. I really like the shot of the cheerleaders.

I am surprised you could not get in the building. For thirty bucks you can rent the gym for 2 hours to play. The gym is still in perfect condition with all the original scoreboard, which we use, and all of the records of the King. When you step in, its like going back in time. The court is still in great shape. Its liking jumping on a trampoline.

Wow, you could not have purposely staged that any better! What a moment captured on film. It could've easily been a mundane photo, but you framed it beautifully. This photo tells more than one story.

This is a great shot...there's just something about wet pavement that can allow you to bring so much into the shot.

I think a lot of people start to let personal shooting fall to the wayside when they start to take on work more "professionally"...this is a great reminder not to let that happen.

Everyone, thanks for the compliments. It is a perfect example of being prepared... looking for the shot... and actually finding it. Im not a lucky photographer but, if I go out prepared and with a purpose I usually get something I like.

Michael, yes, the person in the frame makes the image as it is the "luck" in the shot... that little something extra that I could just as easily have missed. I didnt wait for this person. I saw it about to happen but I was still getting in the street and turning on my camera... I dropped to a knew, put the camera to my eye and shot. Luck.

WES,

I would LOVE to learn how you made the child's eyes blue and the rest black and white. This is a trick I have wanted to learn for YEARS!!!
